Jim Lewis began his electrical career in his home town of Temple Georgia. In 1969 he relocated to Orlando Florida to accept a position as supervisor of electrical construction. Jim worked his way up in the electrical trade beginning with residential and commercial work and then heavy industrial electrical construction in the oil refinery and chemical industry. At the same time, Jim attended classes in electricity and later is business management. In 1981 Jim became an electrical inspector at Walt Disney World and Epcot Center in Orlando Florida and about a year later was promoted to Chief Electrical Inspector. In 1984, Jim began teaching electrical exam preparation classes on evenings and week end's part time and in 1987, resigned as Chief Electrical Inspector to devote full time to teaching. Jim is widely recognized as one of America's most knowledgeable and dynamic electrical educators. His easy to understand teaching style and his methods of motivating the student has given confidence and knowledge to thousands of electricians and helped them pass their exam on their first attempt. His name is synonymous with quality education throughout the electrical industry. Jim currently resides in Orlando Florida..
