Courtney is thrilled to join the miXtape team here at Lamb’s. Most recently, Ms. Corey played the role of the Leading Player in “Pippin??? at Diversionary Theatre. She was an original company member of both the Los Angeles and Chicago productions of “Wicked,??? in which she performed the role of Elphaba, and was a featured soloist in the ensemble. As a “Wicked??? company member, she has appeared on numerous television shows, including “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,??? and was featured as Elphaba in a “Wicked???/Metro ad campaign throughout Los Angeles. Other credits include the 1st and 2nd National Broadway Tours of “Rent??? (Maureen), “Limelight,??? “Bonnie and Clyde,??? and “The Wiz??? at the La Jolla Playhouse, “The Great American Trailer Park Musical??? at San Diego Rep, “This, “Lend Me A Tenor,??? “Over The Tavern,??? and “Jacques Brel...??? at North Coast Rep, “Shear Madness??? with Miracle Theatre Productions in San Diego, and Dr. Seuss‘ “How The Grinch Stole Christmas??? at The Old Globe. Ms. Corey is the Founder and Executive Director of the Theatre Arts School of San Diego. When not performing, she spends much of her time behind the scenes - as a teacher, director, and choreographer. As always, Courtney dedicates this and every performance to her husband, Matt, and son, Jack.
