Charles is both thrilled and humbled to reprise his role as country legend Johnny Cash, a performance that garnered him a 2019 Craig Noel Award. As an associate artist with Lamb’s Players Theatre, Charles has been in many recent productions. These include Once, Chaps!, The Explorers Club, Twelfth Night and Fiddler on the Roof. He is also a Resident Artist with Cygnet Theatre. Other San Diego credits include work with La Jolla Playhouse, ion Theatre, New Village Arts and San Diego Repertory Theatre.
