Brett Benowitz was born in California and moved to Georgia when he was 7 where he began acting and playing music. At age 13 he learned guitar and fell in love with writing songs. At age 20 while studying abroad in Israel, Brett formed a band and played gigs all over the country and decided to make music his mission in life. After graduating from The University of Georgia in 2011 with a degree in theatre and film studies, Brett moved to NYC to pursue music and acting and quickly booked his first musical, “Born Blue??? directed by Anthony Rapp (Rent). After 8 years in NYC making music and acting, Brett moved to LA to take his creative career to the next level. Recently, Brett appeared in two Super Bowl Commercials, won the Fender Player Plus Studio Session Contest for LA, and gained some fame appearing in viral YouTube videos such as “Ice Cream Man??? and “Smoothie Madness???.
