Anthony Ballard celebrates his return to the Lamb’s Players Theatre stage where 21 years ago, he made his debut as Steve Fairfield in the 1995 holiday gem, “Its Christmas and its Live”. Anthony has enjoyed a lifetime of performing on the stages of American Regional Theatres and Opera houses from coast to coast. He is a graduate of the prestigious American Institute of Musical Studies (AIMS) in Graz, Austria and made his European debut as Rocco in their concert production of Beethoven’s Fidelio. Anthony is currently in his 22nd season as a member of the San Diego Opera core chorus. Equally at home on the musical theatre stage as a true ‘triple threat’ performer, and in addition to his previous appearance with Lamb’s Players; Anthony regularly appeared with Lyric Opera San Diego (Mr. Upson in “Mame”; Sir Evelyn Oakley in “Anything Goes”, Samuel in “Pirates of Penzance”, and others); The Poway Center for Performing Arts (Curly in "Oklahoma"); and featured ensembles of the Nebraska Repertory Theatre, and North Carolina’s “The Lost Colony”.
