Karen Ann Daniels is proud to join the cast of Woody Guthrie's American Song. Born and raised in San Diego, she holds a BA from UCLA and an MFA in Musical Theatre from SDSU. While in Seattle, she channeled her inner child as "Little Red" in Storybook Theatre's adaption of the fairytale and Karen Ann has been seen at the Taproot Theatre as Nicole in the West Coast Premiere of Brownie Points. She spent six years as a teaching artist and director with Studio East in Kirkland, WA. Favorite roles include Aretha in Beehive the Musical, Ida Mae in A...My Name is Still Alice, Andrea and Ti Moune in the Village Theatre production of Once on This Island. For Lamb's Players Theatre, she embodied the homeless Mrs. Riley in Festival of Christmas and was Monique La Sleek in The Boy Who Fell Into the Book. She gives special thanks to her friends and family for their continued encouragement and to Achilles and Anaïs for leading by example.
