Charles Evans Jr.
Charles is honored to be playing one of the legends of American music, the one and only Johnny Cash! He was most recently seen at Lamb’s Players Theatre in Chaps!. Other Lambs appearances include Once, The Explorers Club, Big Fish,The Miracle Worker, Twelfth Night and Fiddler on the Roof. Charles is a Resident Artist with Cygnet Theatre (A Christmas Carol, The Vortex, Hay Fever, Dogfight, My Fair Lady, Spring Awakening). Other San Diego credits include work with La Jolla Playhouse, ion Theatre, New Village Arts and San Diego Repertory Theatre. Charles is a BFA theatre graduate of Stephens College for Women and a proud member of Actors’ Equity. Many thanks to the Smyths and his beautiful wife Caitie for their support.

Steve was recently seen as Stanley in Smoke On The Mountain here at Lamb's Players Theatre, and as Siren in Shockheaded Peter at Cygnet Theatre. Other credits include: Jersey Boys (Original Broadway Cast—2006 Tony Award, First National Tour, La Jolla Playhouse), The Collected Works of Billy the Kid (La Jolla Playhouse), Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story (The Apollo Theatre Center, Stage West), It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues, Cabaret (San Diego REP), Mixtape (Lamb’s), Little Shop of Horrors, Hedwig & The Angry Inch, Pageant, The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Cygnet Theatre), Sweeney Todd (The Fritz Theatre), and Hair (Starlight Theatre). As a musician, Steve has worked and played with Pete Townshend, Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger of The Doors, John Wesley of Porcupine Tree, Alex Lifeson, Micky Dolenz, Jung-Ho Pak and many others. He has been seen on The Today Show, Late Night With David Letterman, The 60th Annual Tony Awards, and at many Rockers On Broadway concerts in New York. Love to his beautiful wife, Tricia.
Mabel Halliday (Understudy)
Caitie is grateful to have been cast in over 35 Lamb’s Players productions since 2010, most recently Chaps! (Mabel). Other Lamb's favorites include Once (Girl - 2018 Craig Noel Award), Silent Sky (Margaret), Equivocation (Judith), Twelfth Night (Viola), Fiddler on the Roof (Hodel), American Rhythm, Wit, Les Misérables, Quilters, Mixtape, Glory Man, and “100 Hours of Stories,” the play-reading marathon that landed Lamb’s a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records. Caitie has also been seen at Cygnet Theatre in Dogfight (Rose Fenny), and in their concert readings of Hair (Sheila Franklin), and Side by Side by Sondheim (Woman 2). In 2017, she performed alongside Danny Burstein and Susan Egan in “To Life! Bock and Harnick on Broadway” with the San Diego Symphony, under the baton of Rob Fisher. BFA: The Boston Conservatory. Caitie's super-hunky husband Charles Evans Jr. can also be found onstage with Lamb's this summer, playing Johnny Cash in Million Dollar Quartet, at the Avo in Vista!

Amanda is delighted to be performing with Lamb's Players. She has previously appeared in the Cabaret concert series with LPT and An American Christmas at the US Grant. Amanda has performed as actress, pianist, conductor, and musical director in a variety of productions, including Guys and Dolls, The Mikado, Cinderella, A Year with Frog and Toad, Snoopy!!!, and Oklahoma!. She has a degree in music from San Diego Christian College: When she is not working at LPT, she loves to spend time with her husband, Brent and their daughter, Tiana. She would like to thank her family, friends, and music teachers for their continued support and inspiration in her music endeavors. Soli Deo Gloria.
