TEEN DATING
Dating is one of life’s great experiences. Getting to know another person in this way
can be a lot of fun. I consider dating to be a special privilege. I will accept this responsibility
seriously and treat my date with respect.
My intention is to learn how to get along with my date while learning as much
about them as I can, I will chose safe environments where we can learn about each other
while having fun. I will tell my parents where we intend to go and what we plan to do
as well as what time we anticipate the date to end.
I will be open to discussing my dates with my parents. This gives all of us the opportunity
to talk about the possible dangers such as any kind of violence. Equally important,
this will give us the time to discuss all the positive aspects of dating and getting to know
some one, which can be a wonderful thing.
I understand there are rules and that there will be consequences if I break the rules
such as not going where I said we were going and being late. I will abide by the rules listed below
and accept the consequences if I do not.
