is thrilled to be on stage at Lamb's Players with Doris and Me (winner 2013 Eddon Best of LA Theater Award-Best Male Solo Show) his love letter to Doris Day (written with fellow Plaid, Kurtis Simmons). Scott has been touring with the show for two years now and will in be San Diego, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and at 54 Below in NY with the show later this year. It is particularly thrilling to be doing the show this year during Doris Day’s milestone Birthday year (she will be turning 90 on April 3rd !) Scott has made his living as a professional performer for the past 15 years in theatre, TV, commercials, voiceover, film, recording and cabaret. Having performed in over 40 theatrical productions, Scott is best known in the theatre world for playing Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors (10 productions). Tours and regional include: Smudge in the San Diego Company of Forever Plaid (2 years and multiple productions), the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz, Side by Side by Sondheim (2006 Best Lead Male- Desert Theatre League Award), Simeon/Levi in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Kodak Theatre), the Baker in Into the Woods, Bud Frump in How to Succeed in Business..., Papa Who in The Grinch Stole Christmas (Old Globe Theatre with Tony award winning director, Jack O'Brien), Forever Plaid, Little Shop of Horrors and My Way (GraceArts Live), not to mention four domestic and international one-man shows for Buena Vista Film and Disney. Also a recording artist, Scott's debut solo CD of Big Band, Broadway and Pop songs featuring a duet with TV's Katey Sagal (Married with Children, Futurama, Sons of Anarchy) was hailed "one of those debut albums that knocks you for a loop... a work of creative and artistic wonderment" by Cabaret Scenes. Scott has been the guest vocalist for Pasadena Pops and sang back up for Barbra Streisand at two of her LA concerts. As a voiceover artist, Scott has worked for the voice of Knuckles the Echidna for Sega Games, Sonic the Hedgehog. He has appeared in numerous national and regional television commercials. TV credits include: The First Family, The Suite Life on Deck, I Carly, Malcolm in the Middle, Greetings from Tucson, General Hospital, Wings and the film, Enchanted Go West. Scott is currently at work on his second CD “ The Music of Doris Day???. Scott is a member of Actors' Equity, Sag, AFTRA and AGVA.
