Rik has been working for Lamb’s Players since 1969 and has appeared in over 60 productions. Some of his favorites are Boomers, American Rhythm, and MiXtape. He is also proud to be a part of many premiers including Servant of Two Masters, Joe vs. the Volcano and several Festivals of Christmas. Rik also enjoys playing such classic shows as My Fair Lady, Guys and Dolls, West Side Story and The Music Man. Fluent on many instruments he set a personal best by playing ten different instruments during Lamb’s award winning run of Les Miserables. Another of his all-time favorite rolls was being able to step out front and play Burl Sanders in the musical Smoke on the Mountain. Rik has played for Moonlight Amphitheatre, North Coast Rep, SD Musical Theater, Diversionary, SDRep, Coronado Playhouse, SD Junior Theater and more. When not playing theater he’s playing country/rock with the Free Beer Band. Rik has a degree in music from UCSD and lives and teaches in Carlsbad, CA.
